Titus 1:8

A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,

And it came to pass, when Hiram heard the words of Solomon, that he rejoiced greatly, and said, Blessed be the Lord this day, which hath given unto David a wise son over this great people.

We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:

Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings; By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;

But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.

Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the Lord God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.
