Romans 7:12

But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;

Righteous art thou, O Lord, and upright are thy judgments.

The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward. Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.

For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.

And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

Thou camest down also upon mount Sinai, and spakest with them from heaven, and gavest them right judgments, and true laws, good statutes and commandments:

Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?

Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.

Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.

Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear.

All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
