Psalms 94:8

A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.

For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others.

O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.

There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off: the women come, and set them on fire: for it is a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he that formed them will shew them no favour.

But they are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock is a doctrine of vanities.

I hearkened and heard, but they spake not aright: no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? every one turned to his course, as the horse rusheth into the battle. Yea, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the judgment of the Lord. How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the Lord is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain.

O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.

So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.

How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
