Psalms 35:10

Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?

I know that the Lord will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor.

For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul.

Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.

Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things: O God, who is like unto thee!

Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works.

He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me.

Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.

I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.

When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.

He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.

To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him?

To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.

He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain: So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat. His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out. Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers. If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness: Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom. His flesh shall be fresher than a child’s: he shall return to the days of his youth:

But he saveth the poor from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty. So the poor hath hope, and iniquity stoppeth her mouth.

Rob not the poor, because he is poor: neither oppress the afflicted in the gate: For the Lord will plead their cause, and spoil the soul of those that spoiled them.

For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth.

For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.

This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.

For the Lord heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners.

For who in the heaven can be compared unto the Lord? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the Lord? God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him. O Lord God of hosts, who is a strong Lord like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?

Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee.

He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer. This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the Lord. For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the Lord behold the earth; To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;
