Mark 5:15

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

And the men of Beth–shemesh said, Who is able to stand before this holy Lord God? and to whom shall he go up from us? And they sent messengers to the inhabitants of Kirjath–jearim, saying, The Philistines have brought again the ark of the Lord; come ye down, and fetch it up to you.

And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs.

And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.

And Samuel did that which the Lord spake, and came to Beth–lehem. And the elders of the town trembled at his coming, and said, Comest thou peaceably?

And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard his word.

For because ye did it not at the first, the Lord our God made a breach upon us, for that we sought him not after the due order.

Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.

Shall not his excellency make you afraid? and his dread fall upon you?

There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.

Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid. They also which saw it told them by what means he that was possessed of the devils was healed.

And they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and also concerning the swine.

And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him.

Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.

Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.

And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

And David was afraid of God that day, saying, How shall I bring the ark of God home to me?

And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel.
