Job 9:17

He breaketh me with breach upon breach, he runneth upon me like a giant.

And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.

Should I lie against my right? my wound is incurable without transgression.

Therefore thus saith the Lord God; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.

Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.

Behold, a whirlwind of the Lord is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.

And there came a messenger unto Job, and said, The oxen were plowing, and the asses feeding beside them: And the Sabeans fell upon them, and took them away; yea, they have slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The Chaldeans made out three bands, and fell upon the camels, and have carried them away, yea, and slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, Thy sons and thy daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother’s house: And, behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men, and they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

I was at ease, but he hath broken me asunder: he hath also taken me by my neck, and shaken me to pieces, and set me up for his mark.

Not for any injustice in mine hands: also my prayer is pure.

So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great.

So went Satan forth from the presence of the Lord, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.

Thou liftest me up to the wind; thou causest me to ride upon it, and dissolvest my substance.

But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.

Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.

And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.

The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars; yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.

So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.
