Job 26:3

And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,

For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you: yea, who knoweth not such things as these?

O that ye would altogether hold your peace! and it should be your wisdom.

Hast thou heard the secret of God? and dost thou restrain wisdom to thyself? What knowest thou, that we know not? what understandest thou, which is not in us? With us are both the grayheaded and very aged men, much elder than thy father.

But as for you all, do ye return, and come now: for I cannot find one wise man among you.

Behold, I waited for your words; I gave ear to your reasons, whilst ye searched out what to say. Yea, I attended unto you, and, behold, there was none of you that convinced Job, or that answered his words: Lest ye should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusteth him down, not man.

My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.

If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom.

Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?

Is not my help in me? and is wisdom driven quite from me?

Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things. For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips. All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them. They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.

Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world: Both low and high, rich and poor, together. My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding. I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp.

My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof. I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only. O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works. Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.
