Hebrews 2:15

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;

Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

My heart is sore pained within me: and the terrors of death are fallen upon me.

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

What man is he that liveth, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Selah.

His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out. Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers. If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness: Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom. His flesh shall be fresher than a child’s: he shall return to the days of his youth: He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness. He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not; He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.

Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet.

For the morning is to them even as the shadow of death: if one know them, they are in the terrors of the shadow of death.

To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?

Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?

His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors.

How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.
